An arborist is someone who works in the landscape industry, but has a different role than a landscape contractor. An arborist is a person trained in the art and science of planting, caring for, and maintaining individual trees.

Outdoor Design Group's International Society of Arboriculture certified arborists are a unique group of people that specialize in the cultivation and care of trees and shrubs. Every day we meet and talk with homeowners and contractors about trees and shrubs that may need our expert help. Think of us as your local tree doctor. The specialized treatments may include tree surgery, the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of tree diseases, and the identification and control of insects/pests.

Outdoor Design Group is not a contractor and does not provide any contracting services. We are not here to "sell" a tree removal or tree trimming job. We act on a consultation basis only. As a result, by working with our arborist(s) you are guaranteed an expert unbiased opinion. Once we give you our suggestion(s) and come up with a plan, we will help you select the appropriate contractor.
